Before you ring: it helps to know where the water meter is, roughly how old the hot water unit is, and whether anything changed recently, like a storm or a renovation.

Where the Detail Lives

Each service page carries the full run-down for its patch of work:

  • Emergency plumbing: the calls that cannot wait, from gas smells to water that will not stop
  • Plumbing: tap, toilet and bathroom work, kitchen jobs, gas fitting and finding leaks
  • Drainage: blocked lines, sewers, stormwater and camera inspections
  • Hot water: repairs and full system replacements

The about page explains licensing and how the business runs. If your place sits closer to a neighbouring town, the Woodford, Elimbah, Caboolture and Bellmere pages cover those runs.

Booking and Pricing Questions

What a job costs, how you settle it, and how to lock a visit in.

Call (07) 3520 4094

How does pricing work before a job begins?

You get a fixed quote before any work starts, and the price you approve is the price you pay, with any change talked through before we go a single step past it.

How can I pay when the work is done?

Card and EFTPOS payment on site means you settle the bill before the van leaves your gate, with no invoice to chase down, post or transfer once we have gone.

Which areas do you service?

Wamuran itself plus Woodford, Elimbah, Caboolture and Bellmere make up the territory, along with the acreage roads and rural blocks that sit between those towns on the regular run most weeks.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Ring (07) 3520 4094, run us through the problem, and we will lock in same-day where we can for urgent jobs or a booked visit for anything that can wait a day or two.

Services and Property Questions

What we work on, and who owns which pipe.

Call (07) 3520 4094

Is Wamuran on town sewer?

No, Unitywater's sewer map lists no mains in the suburb, so each property runs its own septic tank and absorption trench on the block for every shower, load of washing and flush.

Do you repair gas appliances as well as plumbing?

Yes, cooktops, heaters, hot water units and bayonet points are all repaired under our plumbing and gasfitting licence, and we pressure-test every connection before packing up at your place on the day.

Who looks after which pipes?

The public mains are owned by Unitywater, and each pipe past the boundary belongs to the owner to maintain, so a break inside the fence is a repair you arrange with us.

Can you replace a hot water unit on an acreage?

Yes, repairs and full replacements both fall under the same licence, and the original tanks from the local building wave are now old enough that anodes, elements and thermostats are giving out.

Emergency and Urgent Questions

Urgent jobs, and what to do first.

Call (07) 3520 4094

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Water you cannot switch off, a smell of gas, an overflowing toilet or no hot water for the whole house all count, so ring (07) 3520 4094 and we will triage it over the phone.

What should I do if I smell gas?

Leave the property and call (07) 3520 4094 from outside without flicking switches or lighting flames, and we handle the leak repair under our gasfitting licence once the site is safe to work.

Can a storm push a septic system back up?

Yes, a long wet spell can saturate the absorption trench until the system surcharges, pushing effluent up through the tank lid or the lowest drain in the house, which is urgent.

Do burst pipes happen on acreage blocks?

They do, because a service line crossing open ground from the roadside meter can drip unseen for weeks, showing up eventually as a soggy paddock, low pressure or a climbing water bill.

Wamuran Conditions Questions

How the local ground, weather and housing age shape the work, from the creek flats to the ridge country.

Call (07) 3520 4094

Why do drains block after wet weather?

Because the creek flats here hold groundwater high long after the rain stops, effluent slows in the trench and can push back along the house drain to the lowest fixture.

Why do tree roots get into drains here?

Because acreage lots near the state forest country keep tall trees close to the house, and those roots work into the joint seals on the long drain runs out to the tank.

Do cold winters affect hot water units?

Foothill winters stay mild on the Beerburrum Forest Station record, yet the first genuinely cold morning is often when a worn element or a spent anode finally gives out altogether.

How do I book a plumber in Wamuran?

Ring (07) 3520 4094, describe the job at your place, and a fixed quote comes first before any tools come out in Wamuran, with same-day where we can when you ring early for urgent calls.
